- What is RaptorFin™ made of?
RaptorFin™ is constructed of marine grade aluminum and protected with a corrosion resistant coating.
- How do I know which RaptorFin™ will fit my trolling motor?
RaptorFin™ fits mots Minn Kota® and MotorGuide® bow mounted trolling motors. Check out the product cross reference for a complete list.

- Will my trolling motor stow properly with the RaptorFin™ installed?
Yes. RaptorFin™ is desinged to clear the trolling motor mount and will not interfer with stowing.
- How does the RaptorCap™ attach to my electronics?
Adhesive backed Velcro® is applied to your fishing electronics enabling the RaptorCap™ to be easliy attached or removed as needed. RaptorCap™ Installation Instructions
- Will my screen cover still fit once the Velcro® adhesive has been attached?
Yes, your cover will fit snugly over the Velcro®.
- What is RaptorCap™ made of?
RAPTORCAP is constructed of UV resistant, high performance thermoplastic.
- How do I know which RaptorCap™ will fit my fishfinder?
Go to the Product Cross Reference tab that is located near the top of this website. You must know the brand and model # of your fishing electronics.
- I do not see my model listed; will you be coming out with a RaptorCap™ for my electronics?
We are continually adding new models. If you do not see your make and model listed, please email us at info@raptorfishing.com. Please include your make and model # as we may have a fit for your unit.
RaptorCap™ Installation Instructions
Raptor Fishing Technologies is truly an American company. All our products are designed, manufactured and assembled in the USA.
Installation Instructions: RaptorCap™ comes complete with an adhesive backed Velcro® strip for easy installation.
- Clean the surface where adhesive is to be applied with alcohol and allow to dry completely.
- Place RaptorCap™ onto your electronic unit so the pre-attached Velcro® strip is completely touching your electronics and the weather strip is lightly compressed between the electronic unit and RaptorCap™.
- Mark the placement of the Velcro® strip onto your electronic unit with a non-permanent writing utensil.
- Remove RaptorCap™. Using the marks as a guide cut the adhesive backed Velcro® to the desired length.
- Peel tape from backing and press Velcro® firmly in place.
- Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hrs. before placing RAPTORCAP onto the electronic unit.
- Congratulations! You can now install and remove your RAPTORCAP as needed.
- How do I know which RaptorSkeg™ will fit my trolling motor?
RaptorSkeg™ is available for 3½ inch and 4 inch motor diameters.
- How does the RaptorSkeg™ attach to my trolling motor?
Stainless steel band clamps are included with your Raptorskeg™ for easy installation.
- Will RaptorSkeg™ accomodate my high speed transducer?
Yes. A transducer mounting kit is included in your installion kit and can be installed to accomodate either the right or left stowed position.
- What is RaptorSkeg™ made of?
Like the RaptorFin,™ RaptorSkeg™ is constructed of marine grade aluminum and protected with a corrosion resistant coating.
- Will my trolling motor stow properly with the RaptorSkeg™ installed?
Yes. RaptorFin™ is desinged to clear the trolling motor mount and will not interfer with stowing. If you have mounted your transducer, be sure to stow with the transducer side up.
